Sensory Posters

2019

Designed with Tay Yingqi

A series of immersive posters were conceptualised for Korean skincare brand, Innisfree.

Unlike conventional marketing, the posters initially display blank silhouettes of the products, prompting users to instinctively interact with the posters using simple gestures. This reveals whimsical storylines, each expressing the sensory effects of the various products. Subsequently, the products appear on the posters signifying that the experience is complete.

Adopting the form of “incomplete posters”, Sensory Posters encourage users to look beyond stereotypical descriptive terms used in in-store branding by instead introducing them to products via unique sensory experiences.
