One rainy day, I saw 2 people sharing an umbrella and had an interesting thought. The idea of offering to share your umbrella with a stranger seemed as though one was extending his/her personal space to accommodate the other for that brief moment. With that, I thought about the umbrella as a tangible object that could be used to materialize personal boundaries.
