Fingerprints
2015
Light, glue on glass cup
Variable dimensions
Why do we usually see fingerprint marks as unsightly? Are we uncomfortable with the idea of unknown human contact? Or rather, is it because fingerprints have unpleasant associations (produced from the oils and sweat of a person)? In this work, I explore how light reveals the unknown, while questioning human presence and the traces we leave behind.
